We have recently delivered a comprehensive technical training program to a large commercial customer. In addition to customized instruction, this program includes extended training manuals, follow-up exercise sets with answer keys, and a custom training database instance loaded with training data.
Approach
PensionSmart has spent years developing a specialized
methodology specifically for implementing the PeopleSoft Pension
Administration product. The rules, data and output are so unique
for Pension that standard HRMS implementation models do not
work. If a vendor tells you that they use the same model for
pension as they do for payroll, you should show them the door.
But our approach is not solely defined by our implementation
model. Our approach involves our people and our exclusive focus.
When your entire consultancy is dedicated to a single product,
you are able to hone every facet of your products and services
to an absolute level. We know exactly what skill sets make the
best consultants for this product and we hire only people with
that specific background. We know exactly what methods work for
each requirement and we have documented these pathways as
delivery models.
Sure, we use prototyping. We incorporate your developers into
implementation teams for early adoption, training and ownership.
We incorporate your administrative staff for test design and
execution to build system functionality around your
administrative needs. We follow design, development,
documentation and testing standards to build systems that are
maintainable and upgradeable, even when customizations are
required. But none of these practices or directives fully
describes our approach.
Ultimately our approach is a custom element of our services that
is tailored to each customer’s requirements and that very
approach extends to all of our products and services.
