We have recently delivered a comprehensive technical training program to a large commercial customer. In addition to customized instruction, this program includes extended training manuals, follow-up exercise sets with answer keys, and a custom training database instance loaded with training data.

How can you get all of those elements in the right candidate?
Step by step. First, we start with the right background. Then we
train them with the tools that they need to be specialists for
the Pension product. Then we develop their experience with our
customers and their products through an extensive mentoring
program.
All of our staff have a functional background in actuarial
mathematics. Most have experience working for actuarial or
pension benefit administration services firms. All of our staff
have the technical skills and aptitude to support the pension
admin product. Prior to hiring, any PensionSmart candidate must
have experience with relational databases, programming
development and process improvement through information
management systems development.
Starting with the right base skills is the key to our
professional development. You have to have the right person
before you train them. Then we train associate
personnel with a proven program that we have developed and
evolved through our own experience and feedback from our
customers. After our formalized training program, we further
develop our consultants’ experience through a comprehensive
shadowing program.
It is a unique and highly specialized skill set that defines the
specialist that can become an expert with the PeopleSoft Pension
